Minister suggests public body should defend MPs’ right not to be “bullied” and “harassed”


He told PoliticsHome he accepted there was a case for a 'impartial party, for example, ACPO or the Electing Commission to make it clear to the general population and activists that badgering regulations apply to MPs as well as English residents.

"I think there is a case for a legitimate, free body that makes it clear to activists and the overall population that the law applies similarly to MPs in all regards, including how we are treated in the city. We are just a tad ridiculous game for badgering, terrorizing and harassing,"
