Our journey has been filled with struggle, pain, and hardship. I am not a Muslim; I belong to a spiritual minority whose beliefs are similar to those of Buddhism. Because of this, I have faced severe discrimination from many Muslims in my community. Every time I tried to work, I was treated horribly—my coworkers mistreated me, made me feel like an outcast, and constantly belittled me for my beliefs. Even the media, like the Al Jazeera network, broadcasted messages encouraging violence against people like us, simply because we are different. Before the war, my life was already a constant battle against poverty. It was incredibly hard to find a job where I wouldn't face religious hostility. Now, with the war between Lebanon and Israel, things have become unbearable. The city of Beirut, which was our only source of livelihood, has been destroyed. We no longer have a home, no income, and no stability. We are left with nothing but hope that someone out there will hear our plea. I am desperately asking for your help to support my family. We need funds to cover our rent, buy food, and meet our most basic needs. We are in a desperate situation, and we have no one else to turn to.
