Our Canadian converting department cut and pre-tied millions of casings since then. We still represent Viskase’s line of European made casings in Canada to this day. As MMIS grew, the well-known Brifisol food phosphates were added to our product line in 1983. In the early 1980’s we also began selling food processing equipment from Europe, such as smokehouses, tumblers (the first vacuum tumblers in Canada), clipping machines and many more lines over the years. Hundreds of quality machines supplied by MMIS are hard at work every day across the country.  | |
