M.Tech in Design Engineering Admission Procedure
M.Tech Design Engineering focuses on real-time applications and trains students in design, development and simulation. The course also allows learners to explore new areas of engineering design and related sciences. M.Tech Design Engineering aims to produce design engineers with exceptional creative abilities and caliber to solve real-world problems. In order to meet the industry's growing design engineering requirements, the program facilitates internships and hones students' practical skills. At the end of the program, learners will be able to: Design machine elements with complex geometry and composite material systems. Determine vibrations of mechanical systems and recommend improvements. Perform computer modeling of product functions. Integrate mechanical systems with electrical and electronic control systems. Comply with methods and instruments suitable for various experimental setups. Select the most appropriate materials for components based on performance, manufacturability and environmental sustainability. Leading research and development projects. Admission Process Admission to M. Tech programs is done on the basis of marks obtained in the GATE examination. GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is an Indian national examination that primarily tests the overall understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and technology. Counselling is given and based on the marks obtained, college allotment is done as per the students' preferences.
