The last days are described here in God’s word (the final generation); you make up your own mind. As far as I am concerned the verses below, plus others, make it so obvious to me we are in the last days (the final or fig tree generation). Just watch the nightly news or read a newspaper to see for yourself (2024 +); observe human behavior today. Research this yourself in Gods word. All verses come from a KJV Bible. 2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [It will be very difficult in the end times for some]. 2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [Lovers of self (me, me, me generation, you owe me, playing the victim, selfies, etc.), not satisfied with what they have, bragging on self always, speaking evil of others, disobedient to their parents, always ungrateful and unbelievers in God]. 2 Timothy 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [They will not be able to show natural affection to anyone, especially the opposite sex (many will be homosexual or lesbian), unloving and unforgiving in any way; can't be trusted to do what they say, they will be liars and have no self-control; they get angry very easily; sound familiar? They will be cruel and hate everything and everyone that is good]. 2 Timothy 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love physical, fleshly pleasures rather than God, many will not work, they just stand around waiting on a handout. Again, sound familiar]? 2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. [Some act holy or claim to be a preacher of God, but reject the power that could make them Godly. They never teach the complete truth of the Word but cling to traditions of men. Get away from them]. See Romans 1:21-32 for more verses on what many people will be like in the last days. Do the descriptions in the above verses remind you of anyone? All you have to do is open up your eyes and ears to see all of these traits displayed today in many, many people (just watch the news any day during 2024 +). Things are happening all over the world that point to the last days, i.e., pandemics, riots, earthquakes, wars and rumors of wars, hostage situations due to leaders with minds of children. Does that mean we are in the last days? I think so. How did God know all of this? What ever you choose to believe, study your Bibles completely, cover to cover; connect more of the dots and get a more complete picture. We are closer to the end of this world age than we are to the beginning of it! From the Old Testament for a second witness as far as what to expect and why today in our generation, the last generation: Deuteronomy 28:58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; Deuteronomy 28:59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. Deuteronomy 28:60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (This is another sign of the end times. Just watch the news today [2022+] and you can see for yourself. What used to be wrong is now considered to be right; legalizing gay marriage comes to mind). Ecclesiastes 10:16 Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning! Isaiah 3:4 And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. Isaiah 3:5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable. [People will harass each other, man against man, neighbor against neighbor. Young people with no respect towards their elders, people will despise the honorable. All points to this world today in the 21st century]. Those that rule (elected or unelected) will have the minds of children! This is very evident (2023+) today. Does that mean we are in the last days? This is definitely one of the many indicators. Woe to us! Many people need to see this and understand it as much as possible. These are just a few of the many verses concerning the signs of the last days and the beginnings of sorrows. | |
