What is the Dubai Miracle Garden? | |
The Miracle Garden of Dubai is a flower garden which is located in the district of Dubailand in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was launched in 2013 on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. this garden is spread across a massive area of 780,000 sq. ft., making it the largest flower garden in the whole world. Moreover, there are over 50 million flowers and 250 million plants here. This garden won the Moselle Award for New Garden Experiences of the Year back in the year 2015. This award was by the Garden Tourism Award in 2015. Talking about the concept of the Miracle Garden Dubai then the first idea was formed under an agreement between Dubailand and the Dubai Properties Group destination. The development of this project was completed under another agreement with Akar Landscaping and Agriculture Company which was led by a Jordanian businessman named Abdel Naser Rahhal. The cost is estimated around AED 40 million or 11 million US dollars. Dubai Miracle Garden mostly operates from October to April every year. This garden stays closed from May to September because of high temperature issues which range to 40 degrees on average and scientifically, this temperature is not conducive for flower viewing. The operational time of this garden is 9 AM to 9 PM from Monday to Friday. For the weekends, the time is from 9 AM to 11 PM. A very striking feature of the Dubai Miracle Garden is the Dubai Butterfly Graden which was opened in the year 2015. This is the world's first largest butterfly garden. Even, it is the first indoor butterfly garden and sanctuary which features over 15,000 butterflies from 26 species. | |
