Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani announced that the company’s New Energy Initiative will commence operations in Bengal by the end of 2025. Speaking at the 8th Bengal Global Business Summit 2025, Ambani stated that Reliance aims to make India a global hub for clean and green energy,with Bengal playing a key role. Reliance has invested over Rs 50,000 crore in West Bengal, marking a twenty-fold increase since 2016. The company’s investments have created over one lakh direct jobs in the state. Ambani said, “Mamata Didi, we shall double this investment by the end of this decade.” Jio’s network now covers 100 per cent of Bengal’s population, and the company is building Bengal's first cable landing station in Digha, which will be operational early next year. #RelianceIndustries #Indianpetroplus | |
