The sun don't shine on the same dog's tail all the time. (Your turn will come, be patient. You'll get exactly what you deserve.) Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege. [Tell me about it!] When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep; not screaming, like the passengers in his car. [Uh oh!] I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it. [At least he is honest.] Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart, he dreams himself your master. [The government today, and religion?] We look for those faults in others that we most dislike in ourselves! [Hmm???] Some people choose to tell you the truth, and some choose to confuse you with a lie! [Are you confused?] If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with nonsense. Keep them guessing. This is the way some think. [Does this remind you of anyone?] Don't allow yourself to become offended so easily! [Don't be easy to anger. You'll always be angry. Try doing it differently.] When you find yourself in a hole, quit digging! [The key is recognizing you are in a hole. Stop doing what is causing your problems. Again, do it differently.] When they were handing out noses, I thought they said roses, and I said give me a big red one! [Wow!] He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer! [It takes him a little while to catch on. Give him some slack, please.] His elevator doesn't go all the way to the top. [Sounds like he needs to invest in a knife sharpener.] I was born at night, but it wasn't last night! [I've got more sense than you give me credit for.] You can't get there from here. [You have to go somewhere else first!] [He'll have to think about that for a while. Remember, he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.] Insanity is doing something again and again, and expecting a different result each time.
