In Delhi's plastic raw material market, the price of PA6 grade M28RC has dropped today. The price of the material, which was at Rs.191/kg on 09 April, has come down to Rs.188/kg on 15 April. According to Indian Petrochem analysts, the price drop is mainly due to a slight dip in demand and steady supply. The availability of material in good quantity has created mild downward pressure on prices. PA6 (Polyamide 6), also known as Nylon 6, is an engineering thermoplastic. The M28RC grade refers to a recycled variant, which is commonly used in eco-conscious applications due to its sustainability benefits:- Automotive parts (e.g., radiator fans, engine covers), Electrical components (switches, connectors), Industrial machinery parts, Consumer goods (kitchen appliances, toys) and Packaging materials. The overall sentiment in the Mumbai plastic market remains slightly cautious. Traders are buying conservatively, and end-user demand is yet to pick up momentum. Both imported and domestic materials are sufficiently available, leading to soft pricing.
